Dutch in Dordrecht is more than just a language institute. We bring together people of different nationalities and cultures with just one goal: to feel at home in the Netherlands. In addition, we regularly organise fun activities in which you get to know better not only the Dutch language, but also the Netherlands.
Dutch in Dordrecht was founded by Tanja van Joolingen in 2013. Several Dutch teachers have since joined Dutch in Dordrecht, but we have not lost sight of the importance of small scale. Involvement and personal attention are of paramount importance to us. All teachers have their own specialisation, but there is one thing we have in common: a passion for transferring knowledge in a fun and interactive way. With our knowledge and experience, we try to make non-Dutch speakers feel at home in the Netherlands. We motivate and inspire people to learn and understand the Dutch language and culture in a laid-back and flexible way.
Dutch in Dordrecht aims to achieve the best possible result, without losing sight of the 'fun' aspect. Through active working methods and up-to-date teaching material, the lessons are challenging and varied, making learning easier. It is important that you can apply the subject matter in practice directly. Learning the language should make it easier for you to make contact with others, to function better at work and, as a result, gain more self-confidence.
